Kids in Communities... and a visit from our Guidance Counselor!

Yesterday, we read different stories and articles about how kids can help in their communities. We discussed the impact that their little hands could make in our gigantic community! Students practiced using a "web" to brainstorm about the different ways that they could help in the community. For the remainder of the week and next week, we will be digging deeper in to this topic!

In the afternoon, we also had a visit from another community helper, Ms. Carr, our school Guidance Counselor! Students learned about her role in the school and how she impacts our school community.
